More rough from the ground - from TANZANIA. Again i struggled with this, but it is more and more important to "prove" that the rough you use is natural and this is the best way to do that i think. Some of these pieces, if i had cleaned them up would sell for $30 a carat in the rough, minimum.
Most of these have a neon brilliant green, a touch of bluishness - almost an emerald color ... some have a bit of yellow to them giving an olive overtone, but still intense and loverly.
All will cut eye clean or better, some are VSI, and there are some large pieces in this lot! This is saturated and the large pieces are almost too dark, but NOT - cut gems should have a fine presentation - do chose the design with saturation in mind!
I will never be able to replace this material at these prices. This is part of the rush to get some new material on the site, i have a more of this in stock.
NOW MY CAMERA LENS IS CHIPPED - RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE! Images will have a black spot, lite spot, or a blur ... I try to offset it, i have ordered a new camera, but for these shots it is a fact. Sigh.
Try to keep all this in mind as you look.
